USA Science and Engineering Festival

The USA Science and Engineering Festival needed help getting people to its two-day, hands-on science extravaganza at the DC Convention Center. With help from us, almost every local publication--big, small and digital--and a numerous national ones covered the story. More than 325,000 thousand people came by--the Center's most attended event ever!

Global Down Syndrome Foundation

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation asked us to promote its Be Beautiful Be Yourself Gala and Fashion Shows in Washington, DC and nationally to drive attendance and highlight the issues it supports. Our team generated significant advance and post event coverage, including major dailies, a national network, in studio interviews with local tv stations, national celebrity press, political press, and weekly papers. The coverage created millions of impressions that reached leaders and a diverse cross-section of the community while showcasing the talents and aspirations of people with Down syndrome.

JK Community Farm

The owner of JK Moving engaged us to do a press launch of their signature charitable initiative—The JK Community Farm—a 150-acre nonprofit farm that alleviates hunger by growing and donating chemical free produce to local food banks. We helped organize the launch held at a partner foodbank. The press event drew significant press and dignitaries and resulted in outstanding and repeated coverage. Today the farm is the nation’s largest community farm with 100% of its yield donated—more than 230,000 pounds of healthy food.  

DryHome Roofing & Siding

DryHome Roofing and Siding gives away a free roof every year during the holidays. Janice of Leesburg, a tireless advocate for the homeless who often takes in homeless families, found herself in need of help. DryHome made sure she had a new roof so she can continue to help those in need.  We helped share this inspiring story with the community.

PRS

Mental health nonprofit PRS needed help navigating a merger with another mental health nonprofit. Our team developed the messaging, updated the branding, managed the internal and external roll-out with employees, board members and key audiences, and handled the press. The roll out was smooth, helped generate support for the merger, and increased understanding of the broader range of services made possible by the merger.

Washington West Film Festival

The Washington West Film Festival needed help building its profile. The annual star-studded event that featured Ed Asner aspires to make the DC region a film hub as it raises funds for charity. With help from us, almost every local publication--big, small and digital--covered the story before, during and after. The growing event drew more than 2,000 film-goers.
